2. Install on your device

One APK covers every Android device. There is a separate desktop build for Windows, below.

Android phone & tablet

  1. Tap Download APK above.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. If asked, allow installing from this source.
  4. Open XPlay and sign in.

Android TV

  1. Install the Downloader app from the Play Store.
  2. Open Downloader and enter the address below.
  3. Tap the download button, then Install.

Fire TV / Firestick

  1. Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
  2. Install the Downloader app.
  3. Open it, enter the address below, download and Install.

LG TV (webOS) & Samsung (Tizen)

These TVs do not run Android apps, so the XPlay APK cannot be installed on them directly. The easiest fix is a small Fire TV Stick or Android TV box plugged into the TV - XPlay runs perfectly on both. You can also watch on your phone or tablet.

3. Watch on a Windows PC

XPlay for Windows is a full desktop player, not a web page. It carries the VLC engine inside it, so there is nothing else to install and it handles the same channels, movies and series your phone does.

Download and install

  1. Download the installer below.
  2. Run it. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher: choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Open XPlay from the Start menu.

If your provider gave you a code

  1. On the sign in screen click I have a provider code.
  2. Enter the code once and save it.
  3. From then on you only type your username and password, exactly like on the phone. Your provider's servers, name and colour come across automatically.

Using your own line

  1. Leave the provider code empty.
  2. Type your server address and port, then your username and password.
  3. Tick Remember me so you only do it once.

Good to know

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. The installer is large, around 160 MB, because the media engine is built in rather than downloaded later. There is no macOS or Linux build yet.
